Books took me on adventures; I learned about the world, people, and myself. My stories feature characters from diverse cultural backgrounds who encounter challenges that test the human spirit. Although, fiction, love, and pain are universal. They are powerful emotions that can unite or incite people. 

​

I'm a New Yorker,  and the city is multicultural and fast-paced. It can be a concrete jungle where dreams are realized or a cold disappointment. You can travel the boros, view manicured residences, and indigent persons sleeping close to luxury high-rises.  My stories are similar juxtapositions.  There is crime, drama and a steamy love story blended together to entertain.  But, the diversity isn't fiction.  I include my melanin-hued people in the torrid drama or love affair. I'll deliver a  happy right now -the happy ever after I leave to the reader's imagination.
